All of our bushes are started by taking cuttings from the healthiest, highest producing bushes in the field. These bushes are of the Bluecrop variety. They are a sweet, firm berry. Bluecrop is extremely easy to grow, and very hardy. They fruit in mid-season, and produce a large berry. This variety is the perfect all-round berry, whether you are looking to make baked goods, jams & jellies, wine, and especially to eat fresh! They package well, freeze nicely, and have a very long shelf life(up to a month in the fridge)! We have several different sizes available from 8"-12"(industry standard 1 yr. old), 12"-18"(industry standard 2 yr. old), and 18"-24"(industry standard 3 yr. old). As well as insect free, as we inspect and treat non-organically grown bushes weekly.
